Nieuwe Smeer Blond features:
1958 Austin Healey 100-Six

In early 2010, this Healey was imported from California to the Netherlands. Paperwork shows one of the previous owners was a 'Don Healey'.

This "BN6" is a 2 seater with the standard six-cylinder BMC C-Series engine. To make room for the larger six-cylinder engine, the radiator had to move forward requiring a built-in air scoop at the front of the bonnet.

A 117 bhp (87 kW) BN6 was tested by The Motor magazine in 1959 had a top speed of 103.9 mph (167.2 km/h) and could accelerate from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 10.7 seconds. This may sound slow today, but it was quick in 1958.
